First I'll say the customer service it great! They gave me the wrong tacos but fixed it right away, and even threw in dessert!! Their rice is so good, Its just like homemade Mexican rice not that hard rice some places have. The porkchops were delicious too. After seeing other peoples reviews I wish I had tried the Pastor tacos they look amazing..

Honestly they had some of the best al pastor tacos I've ever had! There's always a but, the steak tacos had this awful marinade on it. The extra hot green salsa was delicious . The habanero was pretty good too a little runny. But I will come back for the al pastor tacos do yourself a favor and try the al pastor skip the asada

Delicious, large portions, good value, and a very nice owner working the counter. One of the best taco places I've been to in Minneapolis. Had chicherones with guac, cabeza burrito, pork tamale, and friend had al pastor chimichanga. Everything was great, even including the 4 homemade hot sauces / salsas they offer. Will be back regularly!

We have looked high and low for authentic Mexican in the metro. Fortunately we have found it right out our back door. Taqueria Vallarta in Spring Lake Park is the best. Chicken Burrito can't be beat. Give them a try if you are ever in the area. Our favorite take out. One Burrito feeds us both!!!

Best taco spot in the Twin Cities in my opinion! The al pastor tacos come with pineapple chunks, (and of course) onions and cilantro. The flavor is incredible! I try to eat at all the best tacos spots in the Twin Cities that I heard about. Typically, in my experience the smaller hole in the wall/food truck type of spots end up being the best tacos -- this place is a great example of that.

Sooo good. We got tacos (1 steak, 1 lengua and 1 carnitas), and a steak quesadilla. Everything was delicious, and there was a great selection of flavorful hot sauces! We'll definitely be back. Edit: I'm slightly obsessed with the pastor tacos with pineapple, picture added. We've been back several times, and the food and service is always great!

Very small restaurant friendly staff very tasty sauces. Got the steak burrito was one of the best handheld burritos I have ever had. The veggies tacos tasted very fresh if and complaint maybe needed more seasoning.
